Darling Ranges in Orange

Today I want to show you my own version of the Darling Ranges dress.
I feel like since I finished the dress I'm wearing it! The truth is that I have a soft spot for front buttons dresses!
Someday I'll love to try an sleeveless dress, like this one, but first I'd like to sew a winter version (let's see...).
This is another highly recommended pattern, the instructions are incredibly detailed and you can do a lot of modifications on it.
**Since I sew for myself I'm forgetting that people actually buy clothes, not patterns or fabric, and when I see a friend with a nice dress I just analyze the pattern. What's wrong with me?**

Os quiero enseñar mi vestido llamado Darling Ranges, el patrón está hecho por Megan Nielsen.
Tengo la sensación que desde que hice la última puntada, no he parado de llevarlo. La verdad es que tengo una predilección especial por los vestidos que tienen botoncitos en la parte delantera. 
Algún día me gustaría hacer una versión del Darling Ranges sin mangas como este de aquí, pero primero quiero coser uno para este invierno ;) muchos planes veo yo aquí... 
Os recomiendo muchísimo o este patrón, está muy, pero que muy, bien detallado.
**Des que me hago mi propia ropa cada día me olvido más que la gente compra prendas y no telas y patrones. De hecho, cuando veo una amiga con un vestido bonito, no puedo evitar intentar descifrar el patrón. Aish...**

Japanese Blouse

Yes, this Japanese pattern again.
I've been wearing this new blouse A LOT!
I sewed this garment with my friend Mireia, we sew one blouse for each. Thanks for this wonderful fabric! I know that you've been keeping it for a while ;)
Sewing with people is much more fun than sewing alone! Have a nice weekend!

La verdad es que no paro de ponermela! 
La cosí junto a mi amiga Mireia, hicimos una blusa para cada una. Muchas gracias por esta tela tan preciosa, sé que has estado mucho tiempo guardándola!

September; Bits and Pieces

Some September moments.

Yesterday I received a very nice package from Anna, thank you so much! The black tea from Wien is amazingly delicious!
* The truth is that I had very bad luck recently with my mail. "Anna Marengs" sent me two packages this year and I didn't received any of them. Kristina sent one of her wonderful photos, and the same :(
I've been so many times to my post office to claim for my packages and I also sent an online claim to Correos. The only answer I got was "that without a tracking number they couldn't do anything".
I just can say: thank you for sending things to me, I know that's a quite lot of work to prepare a handmade presents.

Algunos momentos de Septiembre. 

Ayer recibí un paquete de Anna, muchísimas gracias! El té negro de Viena es increíblemente delicioso!
* La verdad es que últimamente he tenido muy mala suerte con Correos. Anna Marengs me envió dos paquetitos este año y no he recibido ninguno, Kristina también me mandó una de sus preciosas fotos, de la cuál no hay ni rastro :( He ido tantas veces a mi oficina de correos a reclamar, incluso mandé una reclamación online, pero la única respuesta que tuve es que sin número de seguimiento no pueden hacer nada. Así vamos!
Sólo puedo decir: gracias, sé que es bastante trabajo preparar cositas hechas a mano y encontrar tiempo para ir a mandarlas.

Minoru Jacket

On Friday I finished my Minoru Jacket, and I couldn't wait a second to wear it!

Luckily we had plan to spent our weekend in the Pyrenees where the temperature is cooler than in Barcelona, so I could wear it for first time. Yuhu!! We had some rain, perfect for trying the hood too.

This pattern is for an intermediate level, as I said this jacket was a huge project for me, but it turn on very well as the instructions were very clear. If I had any doubts, I just checked them on the sew-along! The only modification I did, is that I add side-seam pockets, which is essential for having the hands warm&cosy!

To sum up: I highly recommend this pattern!

El viernes pasado acabé mi Minoru Jacket, y después de tantos días cosiendo la misma prenda, no podía esperar ni un segundo para lucirla!

Por suerte, teníamos planeado ir los Pirineos a pasar el fin de semana. Como la temperatura ahí es más fresquita que aquí en Barcelona, pude ir de excursión toda orgullosa con mi nueva chaqueta! Hasta tuvimos un poco de lluvia, con lo que pude probar la capucha!  

Este patrón es  para personas que tengan un nivel intermedio de costura. La verdad es que ha sido más fácil de lo que me esperaba, intimida un poco al principio, pero las instrucciones son muy claras! Sobre el patrón original la única modificación que hice fue añadir dos bolsillos laterales, imprescindibles para tener las manos a salvo del frío!

Un patrón altamente recomendable!
