Winter

I'm not a huge fan of winter, and sometimes I need to remember myself that winter is not so bad. I wish we had snow more often, what I'd really love is to see the first snows through my window. When winter means just cold weather I don't find it much interesting.

This reminder of the pleasant moments of winter it has been very useful to me. Anyway, this winter is going to be a very special one, with our baby everything seems incredibly wonderful, we can spend hours indoors just staring at her cute faces!

No soy muy fan del invierno, a veces tengo que recordarme a mi misma que tampoco está tan mal. Me gustaría que tuviésemos más días de nieve, ya sé que siempre puedo ir a los Pirineos, pero no es lo mismo que poder ver las primeras nieves desde mi ventana.

Este recordatorio sobre los buenos momentos del invierno es genial. Aunque de hecho este año va ser muy especial, ya que des que tenemos a nuestra pequeñita todo parece sumamente maravilloso, podemos pasarnos horas mirando como hace sus caritas.

Sardinia

I love travelling to islands and I really love Italy! Their streets with flowers, the colours of their houses and obviously the food... it's a wonderful mix! We went to Sardinia at the end of June, so we could enjoy the lack of tourists and as a consequence we could stay almost alone in some peaceful beaches&towns. A very important point: it's just a one hour flight! 

Me encanta viajar a islas y me encanta Italia! Sus calles con flores, los colores de sus casas y sobretodo su comida! Como fuimos a Sardeña a finales de junio pudimos disfrutar de la isla con aún pocos turistas, de sus playas y de sus pueblos con poca gente. Además sólo está a una hora en avión!  

Birthday Garden Party

The 9th of June I turned 30!!

Last Friday I invited some friends at home, they insisted that my party looked like a five year old girl's birthday. They were like: where are the mojitos? 

The truth is that I'm really grateful to have these friends!! Thanks

El 9 de junio cumplí 30 añitos de nada!

El viernes pasado hice una mini fiesta-merienda en casa, mis amigos estuvieron bromeando un buen rato sobre que parecía la fiesta de cumple de una niña de cinco años. Su pregunta fue ¿Dónde están los mojitos? Pues nada de mojitos este año ;) 

Estoy de lo más feliz de tener estos amigos, que aunque pasemos mucho tiempo sin vernos, siempre parece que nos vimos ayer. Gracias

Natural Shapes

I've been working/studying a lot lately, although I'm an educational psychologist, I'm about to finish my degree in childhood education. I have just one week left to finish my final project, which is about pre-term babies.

I'm lucky to spend quite a lot of ours at home, and some days my eyes just see beauty everywhere. (it's not always like that).

Últimamente he estado trabajando/estudiando mucho, aunque soy psicóloga estoy a punto de terminar magisterio infantil. Sólo me queda una semana para la entrega de mi proyecto final.

Tengo la suerte de poder pasar bastante tiempo en casa durante estos días de frío, y algunos días, mire dónde mire sólo veo formas preciosas (cosa que no siempre es así!).

Madrid Shops (III & the last one)

I just want to share with you some nice Madrid shops! Sadly (or luckily for pocket) it was so cold that I did'n buy anything. I wanted to visit this craft shop, but it was closed, if you visit Madrid don't hesitate to visit it! Have a good day!

Quería compartir con vosotros algunas tiendas bonitas de Madrid! Desafortunadamente (o afortunadamente para mi bolsillo) hacía tanto frío que no me compré nada de nada! Me hubiera gustado visitar Black Oveja pero estaba cerrado por reformas, si vais a Madrid no dudéis en visitarla. Feliz martes!

My weekend in 8 circles

- My parents visited me & the "big city".
- We had coffee in the seafront, in a bar with pretty floor.
- My dad helped me with the garden.
- I bought reddish yarn and socks needles.
- I had dinner with friends.
- I ate my mum's pumpkin soup.
- And no more computer for today!!

- He tenido la visita de mis padres.
- Hemos tomado un café delante del mar, en un bar que tenia un suelo precioso.
- Mi padre me ha ayudado con el jardín.
- He comprado lana de colores rojizos y agujas para tejer unos calcetines.
- He ido a cenar con mis amigas.
- Hoy he comido la crema de calabaza que me trajo mi madre.
- Y por hoy, ya cierro el ordenador!

El Festivalet

Last Sunday I went to "El Festivalet", it's a wonderful handmade market organized by Duduá and Sirena con Jersey. I met some talented designers who I only knew from "the blog world".

The last two photos are what I bought: wonderful pins made by cheerful Natàlia from lepetitpot; and a natural soap and a lip balm made by Olivia from Jabones de Cuidado.
The truth is I would have spent all my money that evening!

Els Encants

Ejem, ejem...

I love the birds one, but my boyfriend thinks that it's horrible...so for the moment it isn't coming home with us.

Els Encants is the flea market from Barcelona. As a resume I can say that it's a huge mess. I haven't been there for ages, but my friend Mari told me that they were selling very cheap fabrics, and she was totally right! Just for 1 euro you can buy a meter of fabric! The truth is that you have to search and touch a lot of different fabrics before you find the perfect one, but it was fun! I will show you soon my new fabrics!
