Almost finished...

My Wiksten Tulip Skirt is almost finished! I can't wait to wear it! This afternoon I'm going to finish the button holes, it's a laborious task, so takes quite long... Thanks Kristina for your help!!

Casi he terminado mi  "Wiksten Tulip Skirt"! Que ganas tengo de ponérmela! Esta tarde voy a terminarla, sólo me faltan algunos ojales, es un trabajo poco laborioso ya que mi máquina de coser "no cose correctamente" esta opción! Gracias Kristina por tu ayuda!

This evening, after my yoga lessons, I've been crocheting with my friends (and neighbours)!! It's great to have people around with similar interests!
* Today I received these floral fabrics from India, I love how soft they are!
* Soon I will do some shop upload, because is quite empty!

February is not so bad

This February is so cold, I can't wait for the spring time!!
I'm spending this weekend at my parents house, it's always nice to feel cosy and relaxed. I really like l'Empordà, on summer or during the windy winter...

Este Febrero esta siendo tan frío... que ganas de que llegue la primavera ya!!
Este fin de semana estoy en casa de mis padres, me encanta encender el fuego, pasear por la playa y disfrutar de dos días de total tranqulidad!

Nice days

Yesterday I cut my tulip skirt pattern, I hope to understand all the steps that I must follow! In fact, I wanted to sew this pattern with a nicer fabric, but I'm too scared to cut it! So I will "test my skills" with this blue one.
Some weeks ago, I received in my mail the Colette Sewing Handbook, it's very useful for beginners like me, as it has the description of a lot of different techniques! Thanks Patricia for the tip!

Ayer me atreví, por fin, a cortar la tela para hacer la falda de la que vengo hablando. Espero entender todos los pasos que tengo que seguir, ya que este patrón no tiene esquemas, ni dibujitos. Tenía una tela que era la candidata ideal, pero primero voy a hacer la prueba con esta y a ver que tal!
Hace unas semanas recibí en mi buzón este libro: Colette Sewing Handbook, gracias Patricia por la recomendación! El libro es perfecto, ya que habla de muchas técnicas, de los tipos de tela, de como hacer un patrón a tu medida... creo que me va a ser muy útil!

Today I've finished my exams, yes on a Sunday! I've done six exams in three days, it has been quite stressful! But now I can enjoy a good beer without feeling guilty! :)

Hoy he terminado mis exámenes, sí, sí, un domingo... seis exámenes en tres días. Trabajar y estudiar a la vez es una locura... ha sido bastante estresante. Pero todo se termina! Hoy vermutillo en un bonito bar del barrio de Sant Antoni!
